On Tuesday 2nd July, we will be running a Taster Day for our prospective sixth form students. This is an important day: you will have the opportunity to attend subject lessons and meet your teachers. You will also have the chance to meet our current sixth form students and discuss any concerns about subject choices. Each taster lesson will include an introduction to the course and a typical lesson in that subject. If you cannot find one of your subject choices on the timetable below, we will allocate you as a guest into a school to study that subject in September, but you will remain at The Thomas Alleyne Academy for your all other lessons.
We have created a new pathway for students whose plans remain uncertain and I highly recommend that if you are in this position, or you have not quite made the entry requirements to make an application, that you come and try the subjects highlighted in pink in the table below. I will be available to discuss sixth form options with you at the plenary session at the end of the day. You are welcome to drop into sixth form before 2nd July to discuss any concerns you may have.
