All parents, students and staff are considered members of TASA, the Thomas Alleyne Support Association, which is our version of a Parent Teacher Association. We would like to take this opportunity to invite any parents and carers in our school community to join our core TASA panel to support our great range of annual TASA events. As a member of the Team TASA panel, you will have the chance to become involved in shaping and organising these events, which are designed to be both fun for all, and to raise money to help the Academy. Team TASA meets once a year to plan for the year, and to support events as they happen; the rest of the communication takes place by email so being a member probably takes much less time and effort than you would expect. The first event this year will be our Fright Night disco on Friday 22nd October. This is open to all Year 7 and 8 students. Entry will be £3 and there will be hot dogs and slushies for sale, plus a competition for the best carved pumpkin and the best Hallowe’en costume. Further details can be found on the attached flyer. If your child would like to attend the Fright Night disco, please make payment, either through Wisepay or by completing the form below and bringing this, along with £3, to reception by Friday 15th October. We would also welcome any help from parent and carer volunteers on the night so please email Mrs Hayman if you are able to offer any support.
